Dear Reader, Friend, Enemy, whoever you may be....

As you've probably noticed by now, the blog has been inaccessible since

Monday night. Yes, you're not the only one I blocked, no one could access

it except me. To cut the story short, lets just say I had a little dispute

with a fellow female who believes she's the only one who ever thought of 

the connection between knockers and ridiculously overpriced heels.

She obviously hasn't partied at Trafiq or Otkert before....

Either way, I decided to let her enjoy her so called 'invention' and will be opening

up a new blog that's already under construction with a professional team this

time around. Yayyy no more annoying blogspot layouts!!! 

There will be no new posts 'till the new site is published (hopefully within a weeks time)

but all the previous posts will be transferred over, and the Facebook Site will still be open. 

Yes, this will be changed too once the new site gets going, or just re-named.

A) Become a hermit and crumple up on your couch, not leave your apartment as your

body decides to shut off all kinds of functions under 10 degrees celsius, and watch Christmas

movies where your eyes gaze over extravagant on screen shopping scenarios located in

Harrods, Barneys, Bergdorfs and Lafayette. 

B) Jet off to the Bahamas and pretend Chanukkah ain't have shit on you

C) There is no option C

Have you walked down Andrassy these past few months? Have you ever actually

looked around instead of texting your boyfriend that you'll be at Deak in 5 minutes

where in reality, your still strutting your stuff in front of the Opera house? 

Well, I if your pupils have let the light shine in, I'm pretty sure you've noticed

the humongous construction site. If not, get glasses!

Modeled after Harrods, the gorgeous building (and even more gorgeous clothes.. DUH)

will also have a sky bar and restaurant on-top with a breathtaking view of our beloved

(beloved when it isn't freezing and you don't get squished in the metro) City. 

So, if you'll want to feel like Blair Waldor or Serena van der Woodsen (SHOOT ME, I can't

believe I just quoted Gossip Girl!!) for a day, or all day everyday, poppin' champagne, HA see 

what I did there with the rhyme? Yeah, I know you do,  You can get your nails done

in the Luxury spa in the basement, get your cosmetics fix on the main level with

prestigious brands such as Chanel and Le Mer, and you know... fill up your closet

Carrie Bradshaw style from the accessories and garments sections before making your

way up for the royal feast. 

So, what are you gonna do now? I know: save up a wad of cash and go cray-cray in March!

I had the opportunity to play real life Polyvore in Hugo Boss this afternoon. Needless to say, 

I packed up two changing rooms full of clothes in a time period less than 10 minutes. 

After all, they say practice makes perfect, right? 

Their collections range from sporty to business chic, making it easy for anyone to find what

they're looking for. As for me, I totally fell in love with their coats. I've been on a coat-hunt

for quiet some time now, sans success. But here, I could have easily taken a few home! 

The one above has to be my all time personal favorite though. It's lightweight yet warm, 

and the fur detailing makes it irresistible. Pair it with biker boots and jeans during the day

or wear it with a dress and heels at night, it suits both perfectly!

Brocade, studs and knits? Not a bad combination.

After playing 'do I really need this?' with the brocade skirt for a few days, 

I decided to be the weaker one and gave in. I guess the gold

pattern gives it a holiday spirit, and it would look even better with a 

dark olive green sweater and some chunky high heel ankle boots (think 

Burberry last season). Talking about the holidays, Happy Thanksgiving

 and happy standing on the scale tomorrow morning after one or too many plates

of turkey and pie!

It's been one month, 29 posts, over 64,000 views, hundreds of heartwarming messages, some haters and too much time spent on posting here instead of focusing in my classes. It has been one hell of a ride!  

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that this little personal project would become such a success overnight. The numbers, and more importantly you guys,  yes.. you, blew my mind away! I I know some of you might not be fluent in English and just take joy ,and hopefully inspiration, from the photos and visual context, but for those who do: This is my time to thank you for making all of this possible for me! To a very special friend, Lilla, who constantly nagged me over coffee, or  while freezing our asses off on a bench in Millenaris watching little kids on the brink of falling into the water and screaming mothers, to start my own fashion blog. I should have trusted her instincts a little earlier… Imadlak Lillus! 

I know this is starting to sound like a speech televised live from the Oscars, but I really am grateful to all those who have liked, shared and spread the word about the blog! 

You guys are amazing!!! 

This blog has opened several doors for me, may lead to some future collaborations,

and who knows what else if the numbers keep growing so rapidly? 

I cherish this space in the endless stream of the internet as if it were my own child, 

and try to improve and give you guys the best! You give me motivation to 

go even further and reach for new ideas, projects and developments, some

of which you'll be seeing in the near future hopefully!

HEAD TO TOE

 If I could count the number of times I heard Matrix as my descriptor today, I'd definitely be in higher level IB math. No, I have not seen the movie, and no, I don't know who the lead woman is and until today, I didn't know she wore leather suits either. I guess besides the Ted Bundy documentary, which I advise you to go watch now if you're interested in psychopath serial killers, this was the only thing my brain soaked in on an extremely useless school day. Hurray for the four day weekend! God how I love Thanksgiving! 

The only other useful thing I did manage to accomplish today were these photos, shot during my lunch break due to several of you asking about my school attire. Well, now you know: It's the exact same, except when I oversleep and wake up to the bus honking in front of my house and basically run out in my pj pants. Yes, this has happened several times in the past, and no, no one ever stared…..

PS: This sums up my life theory as of late 2012. A spoonful of leather and Docs help the medicine go down.

A TOUCH OF RED

My last few days have been much busier than I would have expected. School, tutors, keeping up with my daily posts, the ongoing blog-sale and several meetings do take a toll on me with four hours of sleep daily. But there's always a price to pay for doing something you love wholeheartedly, and I can reassure you that it's worth every minute of exhaustion!  

After having a Carrie Bradshaw " I have a closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear," moment, I went with plan B: raiding dad's closet. He's just as psycho as I am. Everything is color, designer and fit co-ordinated, making it incredibly easy for me to sneak in at 6a.m. with bloodshot eyes and partially sighted vision, stand in front of the closet and pick whatever my heart desires. Muchas Gracias Paps! 

He only laughs when he sees me later in the afternoon, or screams my head off over the phone as he was the one planning on wearing it… they do say the apple doesn't fall far from it's tree!

I love clean cut, simple loose shirts, especially white ones as you can wear them a thousand ways if not more! As I do have another meeting today, I decided to go a bit fancier with a casual twist thanks to the leather pants and messy hair. Does anyone else ever raid their fathers/brothers/husbands closet? Or am I the only weirdo? 

I received this Hugo Boss charm necklace after yesterday's meeting, isn't it cute?

The suitcase definitely resembles me, I'm always all over the place!
