BLACK & WHITE WISH-LIST

Givenchy Antigona Tote

Nasty Gal Velvet Leaf Dress

Just like the majority of my female companions, I particularly
enjoy playing "If the internet were my closet" and
randomly selecting my favorite pieces without having to bother
about price-tags or availability. Or fit for this matter.

Either way, today was rather dull, therefore explaining my
choice of the black and white theme...

and

If anybody feels like buying me an early christmas present though,
I advise you to chart with the Rag & Bone Jeans. Merci Beaucoup.

Lazy Sundays

It was just another lazy Sunday, until a miracle has happened:
We went grocery shopping

I know this sounds totally normal to you, and you're wondering why
I'm emphasizing this as if it were the cure to cancer, but here's a little
background info of my usual situation:
2 Parents. 2 Houses. 2 Empty Fridges
(But God did bless us with Italian neighbors who send a bowl
of pasta over once or twice a week)

So after about three weeks of living on water and pretzels, we
made it to the grocery store! As for you, you have the pleasure of annotating
the outfit my lazy but wore while parading around the vegetable aisles.
Happy Monday Folks!

CRIMSON SHORTS

Here's a quick outfit post of my saturday run-around attire.
The shorts are my favorite ones and would kill to have them in
all the colors of the rainbow but crimson seemed to be the only one
H&M makes... Since it's not freeze-your-ass-off weather yet, I'm
still on the comfy sweaters and jackets instead of mummy-wrapping puffy coats.
I do admit they keep you warm, but the only thing they remind me of
are Italian tourists groups in Vaci street with their Moncler fur-trimmed puffers,
jeans and Hogan sneakers - my absolute death.

I also have a little secret project coming up for you guys..
Enjoy your weekend!

HAIR CARE

*Please note that these products may not be the best choice for your hair*

As Promised....Ever since starting the blog, my hair seemed to get as much attention as my clothes.
Being genetically blessed with a large mane (muchas gracias padre), I never over thought the
importance of hair care and tend to be the queen of out-of-bed hair monday-friday.
But on the contrary, I do realize the importance of quality products and the mandatory visit
to the salon. So, in order to cure some people's curiosity, I took a trip to my hairdresser yesterday
and here are a few important points we came up with that you should definitely know:

-The greasiness of your hair depends on how often you wash it.
(I wash mine every 2 days or so)
And when you don't wash it, use dry shampoo! It works miracles!
Not only does it rid you of excess oil and dirt, but creates volume!

-Always buy products that are specified for your hair type!
Just because it works for someone else, it won't necessarily
work for you! If you have trouble deciding, visit your hairdresser
for some guidance.

- Get a trim every 2-3 months! This is mandatory unless you like pieces
of your hair breaking off and then having to cut 10cm instead of 2!

-When blow drying, use some heat protecting spray and always do it
with a big round brush

- Never Ever dye your hair at home!!! And definitely don't ombre
your hair based on a youtube video! You'll just end up ruining it
and spending even more as you'll have to go and get it fixed
at a professional salon later!

- Clean your brushes clean! Excess dirt doesn't do you good!
(I prefer Kent brushes)

Fekkai Full Blown Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
Fekkai Essential Shea cream
L'Oreal Mythic Oil - dab on to the ends when wet, then comb through
Oscar Baldi Dry Shampoo
Fekkai Shea Essential- put a little on after your hair is dry and comb
through your hair for extra shine (and a great scent)

Pantene Strength&Shine Shampoo and Conditioner

I like to switch up my shampoo and conditioners, it tends to keep my
hair fresh and it doesn't get used to one type of product.

OFF TO THE LUNCH

After not such a long nights sleep, way too much dancing and soaking
my feet in cold water circa 4am (Loubs truly are the most sophisticated
form of torture), it was rise and shine - off to lunch.

And no, this is not an optical illusion. I'm indeed not wearing tights.
(And probably won't be until the thermometer hits around 0)
Besides my love for catch-a-cold/weather-inapropriate dressing,
note the fabulous usage of the Falabella. This probably why
it's one of my favorite purses, it's a two in one purchase.
Actually three, also looks good if you hang it on your shoulder
from the longer strap. And as a finishing note, I do credit
myself for wearing an outfit consisting of leather, silk, fringe,
rubber and my semi-failed attempt at curing last nights hair without
passing for someone who has a multiple-personality disorder.
Happy Halloween Folks!
