BEAUTY

So...I've been getting quiet a few questions about my make-up routine. I'm warning you ahead:
I'm no MAC genius, never took a make-up lesson in my life and just like everyone, I've made
myself look whack a couple of times throughout the years.
Maybe the last part wasn't too smart of me to share, but at least I'm honest.
If you're waiting for something spectacular that will change your look
completely, I advise you to stop reading this post and head over to youtube.
If this is not the case, I advise you to keep on scrolling down.

1. Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel Creme
I've used a ton of different creams before, this one's nothing special
either, but I love how it soaks in instantly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling.
2. Laura Mercier oil free foundation primer
This is the first step, dab it on equally after your moisturizer has soaked in.
I'd emphasis equally unless you feel like looking blotchy.
3.Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with spf 20
I use this during the day instead of foundation. It's much lighter, feels
and looks much more natural .

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15
I use this mainly if I go out at night or when my skin isn't cooperating avec moi
and need some extra coverage.

1.Bobbi Brown Powder
2. Sephora Brush
Be careful not to dab too much powder on the brush! Apply equally all over your face
and don't forget to even it out at your neckline!

1.Bobbi Brown shimmer bronzer in Bali Brown
2. Sephora Brushes
Get a little bit of the darker bronzer on your cheekbones and then blend in with the large brush

1. Anastasia Brow Pen
As my dear friend Ina once said "Eyebrows are the key to your soul".
Joke aside, fill in your eyebrows for some shape and color.
2. Maybelline eye liner
Just get a tiny, tiny, (minuscule) thin line on the outer corner of your eyes
3. L'Oreal Extra-Volume Collagene Mascara
4. Benefit They're Real Mascara
I apple the L'Oreal first and then go over with a second layer of Benefit
for extra volume. As much as I emphasize my top lids, I only put a little
on the bottom ones, don't like black smudge under my eyes or looking like a doll
from a 60's horror movie: Twiggy's Eyelashes Return
You got the point.

1. Urban Decay De Slick make-up setting spray
Even if your skin isn't oily, this thing keeps everything you just smeared on
in the last ten minutes of your precious time.
2. IMPORTANTE (Read in a spanish accent)
CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES!! I REPEAT!! CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES!!
It's super important not to get all the previous dirt and bacteria on your precious face!
I recommend this one, takes about ten seconds every day.
Sephore Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner

And last but not least, the hairbrushes.
Both are KENT brushes.
(Available at Neorli in Regiposta utca)
A good quality brush is essential to keeping your hair healthy and shiny!
These generally last me 2-3 months, but I clean them by soaking them
in mild soapy water for 20 minutes each week. It's the same scenario
as the make-up brushes. Don't get un-neccessary dirt in your hair either!

I know that some of these products aren't the cheapest ones out there, but If I've learned one thing,
it's to NEVER be stingy when it comes to what you put on your face or products you use for your hair!

PS: I do apologize about image quality, my camera was feeling just as depressed about the crap
weather as I have, therefore decided not to function, so I took these with my phone.

Bisous,
               V.
